What is Municipal & HOA Lighting?

Towns and HOA communities have the same problem every December: someone has to hang lights on the entrance monument, the clubhouse, the gazebo, or the Main Street blocks, and then take them all down in January. Every year, out of the same budget line.

Trimlight is installed once. The channel color-matches the trim or stonework and disappears in daylight, and the whole system runs from a phone or tablet on a schedule set in advance. Red, white and blue for the Fourth, orange for Halloween, warm white the rest of the year, without anyone back on a ladder.

Why Trimlight

Not just homes and storefronts

We work with HOA boards, property managers, and town staff. That means architectural submittals that a review committee will actually approve, phased rollouts across common areas, and a flat-fee quote your board can put in front of a budget meeting.

Common-area work is also where permanent lighting pays for itself fastest. One install replaces a seasonal contractor who bills to hang lights and again to take them down, year after year.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost in the Upstate? +

Our minimum install is $2,000. The front of a typical Upstate home runs $2,500 to $4,000. Landscape and architectural work starts at $2,000 and usually lands between $2,000 and $4,000. Event lighting starts at $2,500. Every number depends on your home, since roof height, footage, pitch, and access all move it. Most quotes we do virtually, and we come out in person when you want us to. Financing through Wisetack runs up to 36 months with same-as-cash options.

Will my HOA approve it? +

Nearly always, and we help with the paperwork. The channel is color-matched to your trim or gutter and reads as a shadow line from the street, which is what most architectural review committees want to see. In the Golden Strip and the newer Greer and Five Forks communities, we have been through this enough times to usually tell you your HOA's answer before you submit.

What's covered by the lifetime warranty? +

Trimlight's lifetime product warranty covers the entire system, not just the lights. If a component fails under normal use we replace it, including the LED diodes, the aluminum channel, the connections, and the accessories. Warranty service is handled by our own Greer-based crew.

Will the system be visible during the day? +

The patented channel system (US Patent 8,926,118) tucks under your roof line so it's virtually invisible from the street. Most homeowners and their neighbors can't tell the lights are there until they're turned on at night.
